What we collect and why

Reservations. When you book through this website, our booking system collects your name, contact details, nationality, stay dates, guest numbers and any special requests so that we can hold and manage your reservation, prepare for your arrival and meet legal guest-registration requirements in Jordan. Payments made online are processed by our payment provider (PayTabs); we do not store full card numbers on this website.

Contact, event and career forms. Messages, enquiries and applications you send us are stored on this website and emailed to the relevant hotel team so we can reply. CVs are kept only for recruitment purposes.

Technical data. Like most websites we log IP addresses, browser type and pages visited for security and to keep the site running. Your language preference (English or Arabic) is stored in a cookie.

Cookies

This site uses cookies that are necessary for the booking process and language selection, and, if enabled by the hotel, analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the booking process may then not work.

Who we share data with

We share your data only with service providers who help us run the website and process bookings, such as our booking engine, payment provider, email and hosting providers, and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.

Marketing

We will only send you offers and news by email if you have asked to receive them or are an existing guest, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email or by writing to us.

How long we keep your data

Reservation records are kept for as long as required for accounting and legal purposes. Form submissions are kept for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS and access to booking data is restricted to authorised hotel staff. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop using it for marketing, by writing to info@thousandnights.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with its date.
